CrossFit is one of the top programs for improving your all around fitness. You will gain capacity in the measurable areas of fitness including: strength, speed, endurance, flexibility, power, coordination, agility, balance, stamina and accuracy.
Our specialty is not specializing. On any given day your workout could include weight lifting, gymnastics, metabolic conditioning (our version of cardio, but nothing like the stair master, treadmill or jog). Most workouts will include all three. CrossFit classes are an hour or less including warm-up and the WOD (workout of the day).
We use very little equipment, which accounts for the bare bones warehouse feel of the CrossFit box. Some of the equipment you might find includes: barbells & bumper plates, Concept 2 rowers, kettle bells, jump ropes, Ab-mats, pull-up bars, medicine balls, tractor tires, Glute-Ham Developers, sleds, (GHD’s) and your own body.
CrossFit is proven. Workouts are designed to improve all 10 attributes of fitness, because of this, you will likely not repeat a workout unless it is a “benchmark” workout. The evidence based CrossFit methodology combined with good nutrition and proper rest produces results. Show up, do the work and you will see results!
